What happens when you delete your account
Customer accounts
Your account is deleted right away: we remove your name, phone number, saved addresses and map points, favourites and notification settings, and sign you out on all devices.
If you have an order in progress, you are signed out now and the deletion finishes automatically as soon as the order is delivered or cancelled and any refund is complete.
Members of partner businesses and drivers
If your login belongs to a partner business or a driver account, deleting it creates a request that our team completes within 7 days. Your saved customer data, such as addresses and favourites, is removed right away. Our team then removes you from the business or closes your driver account and deletes your login.
If you are the only owner of a business, our partner team will contact you first to add a new owner. If no new owner can be added, we pause the business and still delete your login within the 7 days. When the deletion is complete, you are signed out, and checking this page again with your number shows that no account exists.
The business itself
Deleting your personal login does not close the business. The business, its products, orders and invoices stay under its partner agreement. To end the partnership, the owner uses Request business closure in the business settings or contacts our partner team. Closing a business is handled separately under that agreement.
What we keep
We keep records of your past orders and payments (amounts, dates, shop, items and payment reference) without your name, phone number or exact address, for as long as Iraqi tax and accounting law requires. The delivery point is reduced to an approximate area of about 100 metres. If an account was blocked for fraud, we keep a hashed form of its phone number to stop the same abuse again.
Deletion cannot be undone. If you use the same number again later, it starts a new, empty account. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
